TEDxYouth@DiamondBar is a local initiative to inspire people in the surrounding community to think, innovate, and achieve. We invite local speakers to come and give talks about their powerful new ideas, debate important issues, and inspire the audience to achieve more.
Our event’s theme is “Are We There Yet?” which will allow for a multitude of topics for our audience to experience. We hope to spread powerful ideas from our valued speakers to the audience. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxYouth@DiamondBar, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxYouth@DiamondBar event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
